I was craving some Korean bbq without the hassle so I ordered it on Uber eats. I got the Galia combo and it absolutely did not disappoint. It was a good portion of food, tasted amazing, and it was exactly what I was craving. I ordered the tofu soup to be beef and kimchi but there weren't any bits of it in the soup, maybe it's just a mod for the broth? Overall would definitely order again!

solid 순두부 (soondubu) restaurant in LA. I'm from chicago so SGD Tofu house is the place around us that we would go for 순두부 long story short this was a great bowl of 순두부. wonderful flavor and consistency to original flavor to the soup. the crispy tofu bites were great too however, i felt personally that the soup could've been a bit more rich but honestly for a dish like 순두부. it just tastes so much better when home cooked by yourself but lovely place and would come again

Always a must come to spot! Hot tofu soup no matter what the weather is, always slaps! The food is consistent here, which I appreciate. This place is located in Ktown right near the Line Hotel. I suggest going early in the am on the week's at least before 1130 am. If not, there's a long wait. There is a spacious deck you can wait on also, but you might cook out there. So if you're ballin', you can wait in your car with the AC on. Lol. They do have a parking lot at this location. My go to is the kimchee beef tofu soup combo with the spicy raw crab! If you like raw crab, you'll love this combo! They give you a little fish on the side as well along with the banchans (side dishes) which can very from time to time. The rice comes in a big stone pot that they will pour warm water in so if you want to eat it as nurungi (the savory rice at the bottom of the pot that's slightly browned). This locations hours are almost 24 hours as they're open from 7 am to 3 am!

I've heard of BCD before but never checked it out. It is a big restaurant! Lots of hustle and bustle. You check in on a tablet outside the entrance. It was a weekday afternoon and there were a few groups already waiting. But the wait went by fast. Man the place was already packed inside! I got the Spicy bulgogi combo. It was really good. Not too spicy, just the right amount for how I was feeling. And the bulgogi was perfect. The combo also came with Kimchi Soon Tofu. I got beef with "spicy" level heat. It was a good spicy. I really liked it. Next level was something like "danger" lol. I forgot the exact label but maybe I'll try that level next time. I enjoyed eating here and we really enjoyed the food! And the staff was pleasant and super efficient. Its so busy but everything, from signing up for a table to paying and getting togo boxes was smooth and fast. Will definitely come back!

TLDR: Fast and great service and a comforting meal. Ordered: Mackerel Combo with Kimchi Tofu soup: 4/5 This is the first time I've had mackerel made this way. It was light airy and pretty meaty. Once you figure out how to properly consume it without the bones it was pretty good! That extra lemon squeeze goes a long way. I got a mild kimchi tofu soup. It was good but I do think it would taste a hair better if it was a little hotter. I think the spice brings out most of the flavor w this one. The banchan was delicious and it kept flowing! Some of my favorite was the japchae and cucumber salad. Vibe: 4/5 Definitely a family establishment + an authentic Korean dining experience. I think it would be a positive to bring someone who knows there way around the cuisine. We came on a Sunday and went over to reserve our spot while we were somewhere else. I'd say by Sunday afternoon there was a reasonable crowd but they turn over tables pretty quickly so I don't think it'd be too much of an issue but still expect a wait. Parking: 2/5 it's tough on wilshire. You'll probably do your best w side st parking

I recently dined at BCD Tofu House, and it was an experience worth sharing. Located in the heart of Koreatown, BCD Tofu House is well-known for its comforting and flavorful Korean tofu soups and traditional Korean dishes. Ambiance The restaurant has a casual, welcoming atmosphere with a lively buzz of diners enjoying their meals. Service The service was prompt and attentive. Despite the busy nature of the restaurant, the staff were friendly and efficient, making sure our needs were met throughout our meal. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours, as the restaurant is quite popular. Food The star of the show is undoubtedly the tofu soup. I ordered the classic veggie and seafood Soondubu Jjigae, which arrived bubbling hot in a traditional stone pot. The tofu was silky and the broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting without overwhelming the palate. In addition to the tofu soup, we tried the Korean bbq short ribs (galbi) and the tofu japchae. The galbi was perfectly marinated and grilled to tender perfection. The tofu japchae was pretty good but wished they had more tofu in the dish itself since the name emphasized tofu. One of the highlights of dining at BCD Tofu House is the variety of banchan (side dishes) that accompany the meal. From kimchi to fish cake, each side dish was fresh and added a delightful array of flavors and textures to the meal. Value Considering the quality and quantity of the food, BCD Tofu House offers great value for money. The portion sizes are generous, and the complimentary banchan make for a satisfying and filling dining experience. Overall BCD Tofu House is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Korean comfort food in LA. Whether you're a tofu soup enthusiast or looking to explore other Korean dishes, this restaurant delivers on both taste and experience. Just be aware that the wait can be long, especially during busy times.

This is our first time at this Wilshire location of BCD Tofu House. We arrived on a busy Monday lunch time and were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. We arrived at 1:25pm to be exact. Sofia at the front counter was great. Very friendly and welcoming. Our servers Monica and Jung were also great. We ordered the Bulgogi Beef Combo (mild) and Spicy Pork Bulgogi Combo. Their serving portions are great and is more than enough. The Bulgogi Beef (mild) was delicious. It's not too sweet. Other bulgogis we've tasted are enormously sweet but not this specific BCD Tofu House. The soy sauce balanced out the flavor. Beef is also very tender. It was still steaming hot when it was served and that's the way we like it. Spicy Pork Bulgogi Combo was hot and spicy. Just the way my husband likes it. He said it was excellent. Our meals also came with fish, tofu, kimchi, rice and egg. Kimchi's level of spiciness was perfect for me. As it balanced out the taste of the beef bulgogi. This place was very busy yet the service was great and we didn't wait too long for our food to be served. We will definitely be back at this location when in the Wilshire K-Town district.

Just had lunch here for the first time. The food was great, as was the whole authentic Korean experience. I had the assorted tofu soap, my husband had the soybean paste tofu soup which was even more flavorful. It came with an assortment of delicious side dishes like kimchi, mashed potato type salad, a fried fish and cabbage with kimchi sauce. We also got the Golbi which was so yummy-- much like Korean bbq. Loved it all!

This is my favorite location for one main reason - they have a private parking lot. That's really it. The other location closest to me is only street parking which can be a nightmare if you happen to be out during peak lunch/dinner time. Looking for a parking spot alone can take so long that you're discouraged to even go. The food has stayed consistent. Our go to has always been to get the combo which gets you a small soup, rice and a protein. Easily enough for 2 people so you always end up with leftovers. My personal favorite is the galbi. If I'm feeling some type of way, I'll get the bulgogi. Always paired with the dumpling tofu. Spice level mild for a little kick. I do fins that medium spice is the best way to go. The service is always in point. They do such a great job of getting everyone in and out within an hour, if not less. I've literally never been to a location where there wasn't a line outside so that's telling you something. Another great plus is whenever I'm there I'm always surrounded by my own people so clearly we all love to support ours.
